Celebrating the Celtic Traditions of Scotland

Classes, Dances, and Workshops

Interested in trying Scottish Country Dancing?  Come with a friend or alone.  We have weekly classes throughout our dance season (September - May) for Adult Beginners and Intermediates, as well as a monthly Advanced Technique class. Learn to dance to the lively beat of reels, jigs and the slower, elegant strathspeys.

Visit our pages on the left for information about upcoming classes, dances, workshops, and balls.

Dancers at Ball

Ferndale Highland Games

Dance Demonstrations

Either in full highland dress or informal Scottish attire, performances are lively as well as stately. The Demonstration Team, comprising anywhere from eight to fifteen dancers, performs at private parties, public functions, Scottish themed evenings, formal balls, weddings, banquets, several Burns Suppers each year and, of course, at the Annual Skagit County and Bellingham Highland Games.

Step Dance

Scottish Ladies Stepdance is a part of our Demonstration Team's program. The colorful costumes feature a variety of tartans. The robust music of Scotland inspires the dancers and delights a toe-tapping audience.
