About BSCD
The
Bellingham Scottish Country Dancers are a diverse group of people of all
ages, backgrounds, and abilities who enjoy dancing, music, and building
lasting friendships. Our mission is to preserve the lively and
important history of Scottish Country Dancing through practice,
performance and camaraderie. The BSCD club shares in the rich history of Scottish Country
Dancing (SCD) and has achieved important milestones in its own
right.
Milestones in the History of BSCD:

1983 |
Formation of the Bellingham Scottish
Country Dancers.

1998 |
BSCD became a non-profit corporation with the State of
Washington
|

2003 |
Creation of the Memorial Scholarship
Fund

2010 |
BSCD
became a non-profit corporation with the IRS, attaining 501C
status allowing donors to take a tax deduction on all
contributions to BSCD. |
