Interested in trying Scottish Country Dancing? Please join us
for weekly adult dance classes throughout our dance season, September – May. All classes are held at the
Fairhaven
Public Library, unless otherwise noted on the
Calendar.
Class Descriptions, Dates & Times:

Combined Class - Beginners and Intermediates are
combined into one class giving the Beginners the chance to
dance with more experienced dancers and Intermediates the
chance to sharpen up on the basics. Basic steps and
formations are covered in the first half hour of class,
followed by dancing for the remainder of the class. This is
a GREAT opportunity for everyone!!
Dates & Times: Wednesdays, from 7:00pm - 9:30pm. Beginners start at 7:00pm,
Intermediates start at 7:30pm

Family Class - Scottish Country Dancing is for all ages,
so why
not make it a family affair. The Family Class is for adults
and children 10 years
of age and older who have had at least one year of SCD.

Spring and Fall on Mondays, from 6:30pm -
8:00pm

| Advanced Technique
Class
- For experienced
dancers seeking the challenge of refining their technique
focusing on footwork, use of hands, phrasing and dancing.
Advanced Technique classes are offered once a monthly.
You'll welcome the challenge!

The 3rd Friday of the month, from 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Fees: $8 per class (included in your
membership when you join
BSCD). Payable to teacher before or after class. Cash and personal
checks accepted.
Registration: There is no registration required
for classes. Just drop in and join the fun!
What to Wear: Please come to class wearing soft soled shoes
without heels, and clothing that is easy to move around in and that you
are comfortable in.
